Our year Round facilities are secluded and safe. Snowbird Acres Farm crowns the top of Schooley's Mountain in Morris County. It is easily reached from the many major highways nearby. It is a Riding School and Horse Show Facility located on 70 scenic acres which includes:

  • Four outdoor riding rings
  • One natural grass hunter course
  • Ringside Cafe for food service during shows
  • Separate schooling areas for each ring
  • Lighted ring for evening riding
  • Ample Parking for visitors and exhibitors
  • Full service Tack Shop
  • Indoor Riding Arena
  • Indoor Exercise Area attached to Indoor Arena
  • Heated "Viewing Room"
  • Classroom for clinics and video lectures
  • Five barns used to house 60 horses
  • New permanent building houses stalls for winter horse shows
  • Six fenced in pastures for turn-out areas

FROM THE NORTHEAST, ( New York and Connecticut):

Take Interstate Route 80, West to EXIT 26
Exit 26 will put you on to Route 46 West to Budd Lake

With trailer:

follow Route 46 West about 8 miles to intersection with
Exxon Station, Johnson Dodge Dealership and traffic light. Make a left turn on to Naughright Road. Follow Naughright Road, (about 1 mile) watch for cross-roads sign on right side and make the next Right Turn. This will put you onto Flocktown Road. Follow Flocktown Road to the end where it meets Schooley's Mountain Road which is also Route 24 and county road 517. You will see our "landmark" eagle carved from a tree; make a left turn onto Schooley's Mountain Road. You will see the Schooley's Mountain General Store on your left, the Schooley's Mountain Fire House on your right and about 100 yards on your left is the entrance to Snowbird; turn in the driveway.

If you get to Our Lady of the Mountain Church and the Schooley's Mountain Inn you have passed Snowbird, turn around and come back. We are about half-way between the Inn and the Firehouse.


Spectators without trailers:

Follow Route 46 West to Hackettstown. Make a left turn around the Shell Station on your left, David's Country Inn in front of you.

Follow road past Hackettstown Mall and restaurants going straight over small bridge which is the beginning of Route 24 and Schooley's Mountain Road. You will see our "landmark" eagle carved from a tree; you will see the Schooley's Mountain General Store on your left, the Schooley's Mountain Fire House on your right and about 100 yards on your left is the entrance to Snowbird.

If you get to Our Lady of the Mountain Church and the Schooley's Mountain Inn you have passed Snowbird, turn around and come back. We are about half-way between the Inn and the Firehouse.


FROM THE NORTHWEST (PENNSYLVANIA):

Take Interstate 80 to EXIT 19, Hackettstown. From Exit Ramp take Route 517 south to Hackettstown.

Spectators without Trailers:

When you reach Hackettstown Bache's Drug Store will be on your left, take a left turn at the traffic light onto Route 46 East. Travel about four blocks straight to fork in the road, facing the Shell Station and bear to the right. Follow road past Hackettstown Mall and restaurants going straight over small bridge which is the beginning of Route 24 and Schooley's Mountain Road. This will bring you up the backside of the mountain. If you have a trailer, you may prefer to go through Hackettstown to Budd Lake for the other access which is hill free. You will see our "landmark" eagle carved from a tree; you will see the Schooley's Mountain General Store on your left, the Schooley's Mountain Fire House on your right and about 100 yards on your left is the entrance to Snowbird.

If you get to Our Lady of the Mountain Church and the Schooley's Mountain Inn you have passed Snowbird, turn around and come back. We are about half-way between the Inn and the Firehouse.


With Trailer:

Take Route 46 East to Budd Lake and the intersection will be on your right to

Exxon Station, Johnson Dodge Dealership and traffic light. Make a right turn on to Naughright Road. FROM THE SOUTH
(Turnpike, Parkway, Interstate 78 to Route 287 North):

Take Route 287 North to EXIT 22B
Take the off ramp to Route 206 North to Chester.

With Trailer:

Continue on Route 206 North to intersection with Interstate 80, follow signs for Route 46 West. You will leave Route 80 at EXIT 26 and continue on Route 46 West about 8 miles to intersection with Exxon Station, Johnson Dodge Dealership and traffic light. Make a left turn on to Naughright Road. Follow Naughright Road, (about 1 mile) watch for cross-roads sign on right side and make the next Right Turn. This will put you onto Flocktown Road. Spectators without trailers:

In Chester you will see Larison's Turkey Farm in front of you, make a left turn onto Route 24 West. Follow Route 24 into Long Valley center. At the bridge make a right turn over the bridge up to the top of Schooley's Mountain. (This is a very steep hill we do not recommend it for trailers). This is Schooley's Mountain Road, Route 24 and Route 517. You will pass Washington Township Municipal Building on your left, Camp Washington Road on your right; Our Lady of the Mountain Church, on the right and the Schooley's Mountain Inn on your left. About a 100 yards on your right is the entrance to Snowbird. If you get to the Schooley's Mountain Fire House you passed us, turn around and come back.
